All teams meet for final debrief

An early start to the day for our team to discuss the final details. With the race starting tomorrow we needed to discuss things like changeover tactics, medical emergency situations, vehicle plans and crew duties. Following this we split into shopping teams to collect the final equipment and food supplies. A big thank you to Nytro Bikes (www.nytro.com) for showing great support to the armed forces.

Later in the day all forty 2, 4 and 8 person teams met at the start line for a final debrief from the race organisers who told us that we are all part of the RAAM family, and that it's their job to make the race as safe and as fun as possible. After an hour of whooping and yeah-ing we were set free to spend our last evening on the west coast of America.

Spare a thought tomorrow after the England vs. USA game as it marks the start of quest to complete the world's toughest bicycle race.
