Welcome to LA

Arrived and ready to go - although 3 hours at the airport waiting for cars to be sorted and luggage to be moved caused unnecessary excitement in our Los Angeles experience. After watching three feature films on the BA flight, our only agenda was to reach the hotel and settle down.

Following the classic American 'eat all you can' welcome at the local buffet, the team split into two: sleepers and zombies. Playing the part of the zombie (for research purposes only, of course), the local bar gave us the opportunity to acclimatise to the new time zone, and at 7am UK time and 11am local, we headed for bed comfortable in the knowledge that we had achieved our goal!
